German Plum Pudding

Place halved and pitted plums in a buttered oven proof dish. Cover with unrefined sugar, date sugar, maple sugar,or a mix of these. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. When cooled enough to handle slip off and discard skins. Serve warm, room temperature, or cold on top of a pool of Vanilla Creme Fraiche.

Variation:

This recipe works well for almost any Fruit. You just can't call it German Plum Pudding when you use peaches.

Vanilla Creme Fraiche

Stir together

vanilla extract
creme fraiche
unrefined sugar

Wait 10 minutes for the unrefined sugar to dissolve and stir again.
