FAQ About Installing Custom CGI Scripts

	Q: A:		Why can't I read files located in my cgi-bin in my browser? For example, I put "test.txt" in my cgi-bin, then went to http://mydomain.com/cgi-bin/test.txt and I got an error. You can't READ a file from cgi-bin or cgi-local in your browser - you can only execute scripts there. If people could read your cgi-bin, it would be a security problem. For a bbs or guestbook, the actual files to be read from a web browser are to be located in your httpdocs. These files can parse files in the cgi-bin, but the files in cgi-bin can't be directly browsed.
	Q: A:		I'm a kind and generous person - can I give away free counters and guestbooks to the entire Internet? No, sorry! This is against the acceptable use policy. Each server has a finite amount of system resources, and they are reserved exclusively for YOU, our valued customers!  :)
